Setting Up Your WooCommerce Store for Subscription Billing
- The first step is to log into your WooCommerce store and add the Bankful Plugin.
- Downland the Bankful Plugin Link to your local machine and upload it to your store by clicking on the “Add New” button located in the Plugin section.

- Upload the Bankful Recurring Gateway Plugin from your computer.

- Select Plugin file from you computer by clicking on “Choose File.”

- Then click on the “Install Now” button.

- Now that you installed the Bankful Plugin click on “Activate Plugin.”

- On the “Bankful Gateway” setup screen, please enable the getaway for checkout and input your Bankful credentials.
- Your Bankful credentials will be the same credentials given to you when you first started your Bankful account.

- After saving the credentials go to “PWP Settings Page” to activate subscription billing.

- Check “Recurring Enabled,” click “Get and Save” button. On success you would see a Site ID generated in the Site ID field.

- Once the gateway setup is done go to “Products” and tag products that you want to offer as subscription.

- Select the product you want to offer as a subscription.


- On the “Product data” section click Enable Recurring and hit save. Every time a product is saved, the info is synced to Bankful.

Managing Recurring Payments in Bankful
- Login into Bankful Portal to view the products that you choose from your WooCommerce store.

- Click on the “Recurring” in the sidebar menu and then click on “Products.”

- Here you will see the products that you synchronized from your WooCommerce store.

- Each product will then need to be associated with a “Rule Set.”


- Create a “New Subscription Rule”

- Then go to your store and test a product that you setup with a subscription rule.



- Log into Bankful and check if the new subscription has been created by clicking on the “Subscriptions” tab.

- You will now see the new subscription created.
